In this episode of I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY Gabriella Treviño, Community Engagement Manager at Pathlight HOME tells us how they change the lives of homeless and low-income individuals in Central Florida by providing affordable housing and economic opportunities. Through efficiency apartment complexes, Maxwell Terrace and Maxwell Garden, they house more than 600 formerly homeless individuals and provide programming right on-site to help residents get back on their feet. We are in the midst of our holiday crockpot drive that will benefit the Pathlight HOME Seasons program which aims to offer warmth and celebration to their residents. The crockpots allow them to take one more step towards self-sufficiency by being able to prepare meals in their new homes. Gabriella has so far received over 25 crockpot donations and she’s excited to hand them out in a couple of weeks! But she needs more. It’s as simple as ordering a $20 crockpot online and having it shipped to: Pathlight Seasons c/o Gabriella Trevino, 3200 W Colonial Dr. Orlando, FL 32808. Check out how such a simple gesture can transform a person’s life.
